If youre not familiar with James Williams of CRKT and his knife fighting videos hunt him down with an Internet search. These three knives and the pen are Williams creations, from my personal collection bought brand new by me. WARNING these are NOT designed as box and paper cutters. These are best described as TACTICAL or self-defense knives. I have carried all three but only used the smaller HEIHO to cut anything.
WILLIAMS HEIHO Manual LAWKS Outburst disabled. Shows some use on the blade. Centering near perfect, deep pocket clip, liner lock!
NOTE: I have disabled the OutBurst assisted opening tension bar. IMO they are useless. I am including the bar if you want to put it back. However this blade fires faster without the assistIMO.
James Williams is actively involved in teaching Military special operations and government security professionals who must at times perform their daily high-risk duties in environments which do not allow them to carry firearms or a large fixed blade knife such as the Hissatsu. They asked James to design a folder with the defensive power of the Hissatsu that could be carried in a pocket or clipped under a jacket.
The result is the CRKT Heiho. This model incorporates our OutBurst® assisted opening mechanism, which instantly springs the blade fully open after you have opened the blade approximately 30 degrees.

Fast smooth deploymentcentered perfect, non-deep-pocket clip, liner lock, large pivot system for powerful penetration power. Williams demonstrates this by driving the knife through a sheet of ¾ plywood.

WILLIAMS Otanashi noh Ken Manual LAWKS not assisted opening but fires smooth, frame lock, includes square knot lyanard, deep pocket clip. This is one NASTY knife...be careful, it has bit me more than once just fooling around with it.
