Greetings all,
I'm sure the maker of this fine knife needs no introduction - he is, after all, one of the living legends of contemporary knifemaking.
Offfered here is a terrific example of his craft - a full sized bowie in shimmering damascus and beautifully figured stag.
The dimensions are - 9 1/2" blade, 14 1/2" OAL.
The photo below gives a crisp representation of the damscus pattern, but those that know Jerry's damascus also know that it is merely one still frame from a captivating moving picture. The way light dances up and down and seemingly into the blade itself is something you will only get to appreciate in person.
Complimenting the superb blade and handle are a hand-peened guard and ferrule, with matching butt cap meticulously filed to follow each curve and crevice of the stag.
A fancy tooled Rowe sheath (not shown) accompanies this piece, as does a padded, zippered case.
It is no stretch to say that owning a Fisk - particularly a full sized damscus piece - is owning abit of knifemaking history. It is not uncommon to see pieces of this caliber in the $4.5 to $5.5 range and up.
This one is offered at $OLD or best resonable offer, which is inclusive of Paypal (preferred) and shipping (US and Canada). International shipping provided at additional and actual cost.
I am happy to answer questions, but the first "I'll take it" by e-mail or PM will get this terrific piece.
Thanks for looking.
Roger
