Kershaw Emerson D2 - Getting the party started, we have "pirate blade" which is based on the popular Rendevouz model by Emerson. Since I'm not a big fan of the overly rough G10 this one is much nicer in hand and actually smoother than most all my Emersons. Has a nice thick tip, long belly, and good lockup with no lock stick. Nice and slim carry but strong for any tough job. $45 Shipped
Civivi Praxis Dress Woody - This was a custom build for me which is turn out so well, ended up selling off all my WE's. The action is unreal at this price point and though earthy and "woody" feeling very natural in hand, has a very mechanical clicks when closed or opened. Sounds more like an overly build all titanium knife - real, real good. Carries slim and nice and deep in pocket. Real damascus blade and real brushed copper backspacer! $135 Shipped
Boker Clip-it - Heading back to the 90's! for this one which has the ergos of a Hinderer xm-18 and made in Germany. This knife was way ahead of its time in its minimal 2-screw front construction and seamless backside. The real joy is the pocket clip that not only works well but retracts into the handle when opened then pops out again when closed. There's nothing more ergonomic than a good pocket knife without a pocket clip my father used to say. Yet no need to go the route of traditional with this modern and futuristic design. Even the best invented and well-intended knives with pockets clips still aren't as comfortable as just that pure handle. This one packs a bead blast half serrated 3" blade and a 4 1/2" aluminum body. Nice oversized thumb stud and reliable lock back construction. $120 Shipped obo
Kershaw Emerson Trainer - Picked this awhile back to go with its live blade counterpart but never got around to using it as found myself just using the normal ways of opening a non-auto. Very well built and smooth as butter with quite an attractive blue as well. $25 Shipped
