I purchased this beautiful knife on BF almost 2 weeks ago. I absolutely love it. After having it for over a week I can honestly say it is one of the most beautiful knives and certainly the best quality knife I have ever owned.
Unfortunately, I have not carried it and have realized I probably will never do so. I have been trying to simplify and only own what I will carry and use, I just couldn't resist the chance to own a Laconico. But, I can see now this one would only become a safe queen if I keep it. I have continued my hunt for one of his Slim EDC folders (deep pocket clip preferred) and would consider a trade involving one. Bottom line, I was lucky to get this one, but can't see a good reason to keep it, so I will pass it along to another Laconico admirer.
I have only opened, closed and coveted it. Other than that, it is exactly as I received it from Ray. I have NEVER used it to cut ANYTHING, but it probably could. I will also include the Ace Case Ray shipped it in. I'm listing it for what I paid plus PP fees and USPS priority insured mail.
Please be aware of any local restrictions on knives that may prevent you from owning this one.
Price: SOLD PayPal, USPS priority mail with insurance included, CONUS only, please.
If you don't know what it is, here are the basics:
Blast2 Flipper by Ray Laconico
Blade steel: D2, stonewashed finish
Blade length: 3 7/8"
Opened length: 9"
Handle: Ti frame and pocket clip, G10 backspacer, pivot
This one is sold. Thanks for looking!
