For sale a Like New 16 year old Large Classic Sebenza. BG42 steel that I acquired from a CRK dealer who in turn acquired it from a private collection.
This knife was leather pouch carried a handful of times and was very lightly used. Spent more of its time in the pouch and released on occasion to be admired. It still retains a sharp factory edge that has yet to see any sharpening of sorts. As you can tell from the pics the anodizing on the thumbstud is still there.
-Both slabs are stamped with A00
-Blade is perfectly centered and the blade grind looks perfect
-Lockup is deep, strong and feels like a fixed blade when engaged
-**disclaimer** There is the slightest bit of stick to the lock. However it seems to get better with every opening and closing. Also there is no evidence of gouging or mauling of the lock-face nor have I ever had to use 2 hands to free the lock. I feel its better to be disclosed but some like me welcome the added security a dialed in lock like this offers.
-Blade free falls when lock is disengaged (Smooth from the get go with no modification)
-I am not a flicker, if it matters
-Comes with everything as is pictured (I have the untied lanyard and an old style box as well)
-Re-issued Birth card
-I am willing to trade for a small classic or regular Sebenza in BG42 steel similar or close to similar condition (we can work out details via email)
