FS: Larry Chew Prototype

One of five original pieces that Larry made as prototypes of his needle-bearing system. Super slick manual opening linerlock, 3 1/4" blade, plain edge, ultra-fine beadblast or sandblast grinds with satin flats. "Larry Chew Knifemaker Lancaster, TX" in football shape on front in the satin, "PROTOTPYE" on back of blade flat. Jiming on the lock area of the liner. Polished and grooved G10 scales with pale blue anodized liners. According to Larry (via email) it's the only one he made without bolsters. Stylized pocket clip with Larry's "chop." Built like a tank. Circa 1997 or 1998. One minor imperfection in sandblast seen in certain light/angle - as it came to me. You cannot feel any difference, but it's visible. Full disclosure and all that. :) Larry could probably fix it, but why mess up a prototype? Stored in safe in Wilkinson padded case, never carried. Asking $650 shipped for this early, unique piece.

Pics available (hopefully here once I resize them). Email with questions or for info.

Reasonable offers considered, Paypal accepted with no upcharge, postal money orders accepted as well.

Thanks for looking.
