Got three custom knives for sale. First one is a very rare Newt Livesay LAK1 (Livesay Adventure Knife) survival knife prototype. It´s from Newt´s own personal collection and was never put into production. The knife was made on May 8, 1998. It´s made from 1095 steel (parkerized) with one of the most ergonomic micarta handles around. Knife is flat ground with an OAL of 17 7/8". Never used or sharpened, it's in the same condition Newt sent it. A certificate of authenticity is included. $175.00
Second knife is a Bow Legged Joe boot knife (and sheat) by Fiddleback Knives (Andy Roy). Great utility knife and very unusual. You can go to Andy's own forum here at BF and get all the info on the BLJ. This one was carried a couple of times and slightly sharpened once. Overall, in absolutely great shape. SOLD
Finally, I have an Ivan Campos chopper with a great leather sheath. Blade length is about 10", 1/4" thick with an OAL of 15". Chisel grind blade differentially tempered (see pic of the temper line). I'm not really sure of the blade steel nor the handle material. However, if pressed for a guess, I would say it's 5160 with a rosewood handle. Anyway, looks great and it's very sharp. A great chopper from one of the most recognized Brazilian makers. $195.00
Shipping for any one of the big knives is $15 for Priority Mail within the US. The BLJ ships Priority for $10 within the US. I'll ship elsewhere if you pay the extra shipping cost. Paypal to chagogutierrez at hotmail dot com. BTW, I'll eat the PP fees on these.
Thanks folks!
