FS: Marfione Custom Hera (1 of 20)

For sale is a NIB, 1 of 20, Marfione Custom Hera, which was purchased new from ACK about six months ago and has been kept in its padded zipper pouch in the safe since it's receipt, having only been taken out for an occasional fondling. Never carried, used, sharpened, etc. - new as the day it left the shop. This is a *special* knife - aside from there only being a handful of them produced, there are some details, and also just an overall style to it, that is not seen in any other Microtechs/Marfione Customs that I am aware of - full brushed stainless body with a b***** dagger logo milled into the front-side scale, all of which has been left good ole' silver, giving the whole piece a very clean and uniform look, uncomplicated by color or excessive embellishment/decoration. The blade is a mirror polished D/E dagger with dual fullers (blood grooves), which have the Marfione-style holes drilled through the entire length of. On the backside lies one of the best functioning and best looking pocket clips I have seen on any knife - it has been 3D milled and is rather beefy, but the magic is in the oversized ball bearing that acts as the interface between the clip and the knife body, as well as the pinch point for your pants pocket. The larger-than-average ball makes clipping it to your pants a pleasant and simple experience; it seems that it would never get hung up and stuck, even on heavy fabric, due to the bearing, while still providing plenty of retention strength to keep the knife confidently secure. The whole package is just a very good example of the very best in functional simplicity and top-spec class that Marfione has to offer. Definitely one of the best I've seen come from Marfione. Flawless and functions perfectly; fires hard and fast. Includes cloth slip, zipper pouch, box (which has been dated 05/2020 and signed) - this model does not come with the metal plaque, a detail which has been confirmed with ACK as the norm for this one.
