I have for sale 2 custom Skinners made by Herb Martin. He's a custom knifemaker out of Richmond Virginia. He's not as well known as some of the other knifemakers but his work is top notch :D
Both are brand new never used and include a dark brown leather sheath.

I still would rather sell them but will consider trading. Here's a few things I'd like.

Boker scout Knife
Atwood Prybaby
Ranger RD7
Ranger RD Hawk
BR Woodland in Blaze Orange
BR PSK
BR Mini Canadian in Blaze Orange
BR Adirondack Guide Knife in Blaze Orange
Ontario Retribution II
Kanetsune knives
?????

Bump for Sunday. Theses are some fantastic skinners for the money guys. They fit the hand great and can open up a whitetail like a ziplock bag :D

Still here guys

They'd make great christmas gifts for that special hunter in your family and you can't beat the price for the quality you get.
He's not a well know maker yet but these are realllllly nice:D

I had a lightly used pry baby with a integral seat belt cutter niche. One of the first models, he produced and long discontinued. What kind of trade value, would you give me for the green one. I am considering getting it to my sister has a kitchen knife. Do you think this would be an appropriate use for it, and sure she could take good care of it, although it might seem to easily is 01 more stain resistant

Hello A-druid,

I'll try to answer your questions.

If I understand your question about O1 vs ATS34. I'm not a metallurgist but I believe that ATS34 is a stainless steel where as O1 is not.
That being the case, the green one would be the choice for a kitchen knife unless you were very good about wiping it down after use. If not correct here friends, please chime in.

As far as a “good” kitchen knife. Either one would be very good at that. They’re skinners and have thinner blades then a tactical knife so they should excel as “slicers”.
Your other question I’ll address in a PM.
Thanks for your interest.
