Up for sale is a gorgeous knife from Matt Cucchiara. This is a full custom work from the Severen line. It is hand-carved on the inside of the handle with Matt's signature and the #11.
This is truly a "cut-above" most of the other Cucchiara offerings out there and deserves special attention.
***Blade - 3 & 1/4"
***Handle - 4 & 9/16"
***OAL - 7 & 3/4"
***CPM154 hand rubbed blade with Saber grind... One of the most beautiful complex grinds I've ever seen. It is really a work of art. I've never seen this grind on any of his other blades. He said he won't be doing it again. Too much work I assume. ;-)
***Ti scales - Pinstripe pattern with a fuller in the middle. The anodizing is stunning and give off shades of green, blue and purple under the light.
***Satin hardware and an extremely comfortable flipper. The action is super smooth and fast. Matt uses GTC bearings on his Severens and I assume the same is true on this model. The action reminds me of a GTC I owned.
When activating the flipper tab, I highly recommended push-button mode over light-switch.
***Lock-up is super strong at 25%.
***Blade centering is spot on perfect!!!
I recently attended a forum get-together. Everyone at the table who handled this knife commended about how Matt is one of the unsung knife-making heroes today.
Asking price is TRADED.
Thank you.
