I hate to do this, but, well, you know how it is with tuition bills.

This is a matched pair (I'd call it a daisho, but one isn't smaller and one isn't bigger! :D) Japanese style tanto, from Michael Burch's early days.

They are a collaboration design, and as far as I know, no others were ever made or will be made again.

The traditional Japanese one is black wrap over white rayskin, and has a flowing hamon.

The black one has a handle of fully enclosed black G10, with no exposed steel. The entire knife is coated with GunKote.

Both are pristine - never been used except on bits of paper. The traditional one does have some minor kydex marks.

Both come with kydex sheaths with tek-lok.

I prefer they go together -- $725 for the duo.

Alternately, $400 for the black, $375 for the traditional.

The only partial trades I might be interested in are a Busse AD or MS.

Thanks for looking.

SPF on the Japanese/traditional.

Entertaining trades on the black one. Let me know what you've got... I'm open to a bunch of options at this point. 4-7" custom fixed blades and custom folders all will do... just something I can flip easily. ;)

It's a pretty heavy duty bit of steel... 1/4" 1095, differentially treated, insulated and enclosed G10 handle.

Thanks,
