I bought this knife a couple of years ago and put it in my safe. I pulled it out a few times to show it off but that is it. I didn't keep the the box but it has been stored in the included Maxpedition pouch. The following is from Microtech.
Have you ever wanted a custom Damascus Microtech Combat Troodon but didn't want to spend the $1200+ price tag? Now is the time.
This semi-custom Combat Troodon features a magnificent Damascus dagger blade with a double edge. The blade has been machine ground, as opposed to the full custom hand ground blades that cost much more. The handle is black anodized aluminum with the Microtech Claw. The glass breaker, pocket clip and hardware are all tactical black finished. A black Maxpedition pouch is included with this Combat Troodon. The pocket clip has the manufacture date and serial number.
Microtech's largest OTF production knife is named after the Troodon dinosaur. The Combat Troodon is the really large version of the popular Troodon. Despite the size, the handle feels slim and comfortable. The action on these knives is excellent.
