Looking to for a new home for this Vero Beach 1998 Halo 2 single action OTF with bead blasted ATS-34 blade. I am the second owner on this, but condition is excellent. No major problems and flawless operation. Blade is in great shape with no nicks, scratches or gouges. VERY minor wear on the handle and recharging handle, please study pics. The most notable flaws would be a small pin dot on the button side of scales and wear along the bottom corners of recharging handle butt. Overall excellent condition. Comes with plain box (worn) and typical instruction papers, no sheath.

I'm not an expert on earlier Microtechs, but it seems pre 98' or 99' H.A.L.O II's did not actually say H.A.L.O II on the blade, though models manufactured after that say H.A.L.O II. Maybe some experts can chime in on this. Besides being sold to me as a H.A.L.O II, go to Arizona Custom Knives and search for HALO II. Any model pre-98' or so simply says "H.A.L.O". Anything after that says "H.A.L.O. II". Not saying ACK is the end all source, but they have high enough resolution photos that you can mostly see what's etched in the blade.
 
Yes, it’s Halo II. HALO and CFO has different profile.
First HALO only mark with HALO on blade, the later variation – mark with HALO II on blade or charger.

So I need to be educated I guess so please help me. I own both of these shown in pic. One is clearly HALO II because states HALO II. What is other one? Is it a HALO or HALO II? It sure looks like one that just sold?
