This is a twenty year old time capsule for the Vero era Microtech collector. It is in 9.8/10 condition in every way.
Please note the original box, typewritten instructions and info cards, blank warranty registration card, even the vacuum sealed plastic bag the knife originally came in is all included, just like it was in 1997. The paper in the documents and box are yellowing with age but remain 100% intact. This is the finest vintage example I've had in my collection to date.
The knife: With ATS-34 steel in a fine bead blast finish, the action on this halo ii is nothing like the newer V model which fires hard and wants to keep going. The ii fires with smooth authority then gently applies the brakes for you. A more luxurious mechanism. Blade play is nearly non existent. There are no major blemishes or signs of use on the blade, much less the still perfectly anodized black frames. Even the charging handle is free of any deep gouging, showing only the lightest of wear in the normal spots. Fully functional original kydex sheath included.
Overall, this is as fine and complete an example you're likely to find anywhere for a vintage HALO ii. I'm quite happy keeping it but want to make sure it's out there in case it completes someone's collection and they must have it. The price will include required insurance through UPS at $735 total.
