Description:
• Steel: 1095
• Blade length: 3-1/2" tip to top of handle
• Cutting Edge: 4”
• Thickness at ricasso: .175”
• Blade height: 1-5/16”
• Overall length: 8-1/2”
• Handle: Bocote
• Pins: 1/8” pin and 1/4” tube in 416 stainless
• Sheath: 7-8 oz. leather hand sewn with artificial sinew
Notes:
• This knife was used in a cutting test so it has a few microscopic scratches (can’t tell from the pics). Therefore I’m listing it as used but still in mint condition.
• I’ve reprofiled the edge to improve the sharpness. It now has a polished, razor sharp convex ground edge.
• Due to its handle design, actual cutting edge is longer than tip to top of handle measurement.
• Maker’s mark is somewhat faded but that was the original condition when I received the knife from Mike.
• One of the picture inserts showed a side by side comparison with a Bark River Fox River to provide a perspective on size.
