A.R.S. by Alex Shunnarah First Production Run Kato OTF Single Action Auto in Brown Tanto. New never used - not sharpened or carried - fired just a few times. This first production run was made 4 or 5 years ago. Includes small zippered soft pouch that came with it when I purchased the blade. The ARS Kato OTF is a rock solid out the front automatic knife you can depend on. The OTF has a razor sharp tanto blade made of ATS34 steel that deploys forcefully and locks solidly into place with the push of a button. The handle is made of lightweight 7075T6 aluminum with an coyote brown anodized hard coat rated at 70 Rockwell. Side bar design makes for easy retraction and cleaning. First production run of 250 numbered units. This knife is serial number 06. The ARS autos have very tight tolerances and due to this the blade will eventually show light scratching due to these tight tolerances. This knife for sale still needs to be broken in and the blade has no scratches. I've owned a couple ARS and these knives do not like to be "babied". When retracting (resetting the blade after firing) you have to hold the fire button and pull down hard on the side bar until it locks at the rear and retracts the blade.
