I have two (2) brand new, factory sealed SureFire KL4 LED bezels available. Please note that these bezels are in their factory sealed clam packages. Therefore, I cannot provide you with tint information. Please click on the following link for more information from SureFire.

Sometimes, depending on the luxeon LED, there are slight tint variations. Some appear with a hint of bluish hue. Some are even a subtle tan. And some are close to pure white. In my experience the KL4s are pretty white.

Rec'd my KL4 today, mounted immediately on 1st gen E2E.

The light output is bright, and more diffuse than the tungsten bulb light output. It is certainly much, much whiter, with a tan tint to the main body of light, and the corona being pretty much white, with only the slightest hint of blue. I think that this is an excellent changeout for those desiring the benefits of LED (longer run time, no bulb changing), at a reduced-from-retail price.

The housing itself is a distinct improvement from the stock housing. I found the original style of pocket clip to be less than useless, and the striker type bezel on the KL4 is extremely usable for those proficient in the deployment of personal impact weapons.

is it quite a bit brighter than the E2e w/the incan bulb? i would think it would be i put a KL1 on mine and its almost but just barely not quite the same brightness, works really really well imho.

Surefire's website says 5 lumens more light, but because the light provided is so much whiter, it seems MUCH brighter.

Just want to pipe in here - the KL4 is outstanding - puts out exactly the same light on an E2 as my L4 - same battery life and same cool bluish hued LED (my own) - it's the light that goes running with me and everywhere else.

The LED's do a really fine job of not only producing a LOT of light, they also provide a LOT of contrast, so things in the dark sort of glow against each other and very distinctly at that. Ideal for finding dog moosh in a wet and muddy backyard which i did not rake prior to forst snow. Also ideal for determining if anything that goes bump in the night is about.

Good score and I'm sorry I missed seeing this earlier.
