Greetings all,
Offered for sale is a knife by rock star knifemaker Nick Wheeler.
This terrific spearpoint bowie impresses with its size and surprises with its balance and quickness.
Specs are as follows:
About a 12" blade, with an overall length close to 18". I'll post specific dimensions once I find out where my daughter has hidded the tape measure, but those are close.
As you can see, the blade sports a nice hamon.
The guard and "ferrule" spacer are made from wrought iron anchor chain, and it has stainless steel spacers on both sides of the ferrule.
Handle is primo Ironwood.
No sheath - knife will ship in a zippered case.
The knife is finished to Nick's expected obsessive levels and it is a seriously quick-handling piece.
Here are a couple in-progress pics from Nick to give you more perspective:
Price is US$OLD - inclusive of shipping (within the US and Canada) and Paypal (vastly preferred). I will ship to a BF member outside North America, but it will be at additional and actual cost and it is quite pricey.
I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have, but the first "I'll take it!" via e-mail or PM will have this fine piece.
Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
Roger
