*** SOLD*** To the fine gentleman in post #2! Thanks!
I've gone back and forth on keeping or selling this knife. But tomorrow I have a traditional grail of sorts showing up, a Tony Bose Case Dogleg Jack and so I'm gonna let this one go because I know it'll just sit and go unused once it get that Bose in hand.
So up for consideration is a Northwoods Gunstock Jack with black bone covers and CPM154 stainless steel blade. I picked this up new and unused from a fine gentleman on the big auction site. He personally selected this one for me as I requested I wanted the best fit and finish he had in stock for this cover type. I've been carrying it and only used it once to cut up a ribeye steak on a wood cutting board. The edge didn't come real sharp so I touched it up and now it's shaving sharp. Blade seats nearly centered but just a shade to the right. Does not rub. Nice walk and talk and it's breaking in nicely. As I understand it these are factory seconds that were offered by Knivesshipfree. That being said fit and finish on this one is pretty dang good. I'd say an 8 out of 10. OAL closed on this knife is 3.5" and it honesly feels perfect in hand. The flat ground blade slices great and is nice and thin behind the edge.
I have $170 into it and so I'm asking $OLD but I'm open to reasonable offers. I will cover shipping CONUS 50 and am open to shipping OCONUS at buyers expense. I would also consider trading for a smaller slippie, 3" under with stainless blade/blades to pair with my inbound Bose Case. Please email or message me with any questions/offers. My email is jwritchie76@gmail.com
For reference, I've not been a very active member here. Mostly buying but I am a well established and longtime member over on the Green Network with an impeccable buying, selling and trading history my username is jwritchie76. I'm also 100% on the auction site, search backalleyboater for reference. Thanks for looking!
