I'm interested in your Strider SNG here. Do you know if one can obtain replacement side Scales for this knife? I was looking for the Strider Black Micarta concealed carry scales that I think are tapered?

Strider has said that they won't replace scales but I've seen people trade for them.(LaBella) I haven't owned any but the CC scales look to be sanded down regular scales. But I may be wrong. THis of course won't change thier color though.

Sorry to ask, but what is the overall length here on this sweet SNG? Are they all right at 8" total length? I asl because becuase I have seen some people say their knives are 7-3/4" to a range of 8-1/2" total length. What is yours?

I'd guess it's standard size, which going by the DDC in my pocket is 8 1/8". I'll measure the one at home to make sure it's the same length. I measured it by placing the 0 end of the ruler and the heel of the SnG I'm carrying on my desk and then finding where the tip came out on the ruler. It may very a little bit since they are both customs though.

Just measture it and it's 8 1/4" from the tip to the heel of the handle.
