SOLD:

One used Ollech & Wajs M5 GMT Diver, 200m rated with 12 hour GMT bezel, Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic 25 jewel movement, in very good (90%?) condition with the very light and thin but visible scratches on the back and minor marks on the sides of the case and lugs from careful wear. With original factory bracelet that appears to be new (it arrived wrapped and I cannot see any marks on it). No box or papers. I have not formally timed it, but I wore it to work for 3 days and did not notice any significant loss or gain. Prefer paypal for payment. I am waiting on a response from Bill Yao, if he can do work on the watch, and gives me a favorable response, I will buy it. I e-mailed him last Saturday.

This is the same basic model of watch that the WTC divers are built on (except that most of those use the 60 minute bezel). All of the Yao parts listed for those watches or listed for ETA2824 movements will work in it.

I had an O&W/Yao diver a year or so ago that had his no-date Milsub dail, sword hands and a domed crystal installed. I debated keeping this one and having an Explorer dail and some of the new MoD 300 style sword hands installed in it, but I have too many other watches (and too many bills!) to start another project right now.

I had asked him some specific questions (ETA, and such), I just need some answers before I commit.

Can the 60 minute Bezel be substituted, and will the domed or flat sapphire crystal fit, as far as you know?

I'll be interested right after Blade if all systems are go.

As far as I know the replacement crystals and the 60min bezel should all fit. To my knowledge the bezel and the arabic numerals on the face are the only things different from the standard O&W diver that MKIIwatches/WCT use as their starting point.

No rush, just let me know when you hear something. Bill has normally taken 4 or 5 days to reply to my emails in the past, so I suspect that you will hear something soon.
