This is a high quality DVD (Not Blu-Ray) player that plays all regions of DVD from anywhere in the world. The Oppo DV-981HD Upconverting DVD Player. It upconverts Standard DVD's to look better on HD TV's. In addition to playing any region DVD, it also converts the image of PAL DVD's to NTSC. This all means that this DVD Player is the only thing you need to watch any region, regular DVD from anywhere, on a regular North American NTSC television. It is an outstanding DVD Player. I bought it new directly from Oppo. I have watched movies on it only infrequently. I would estimate about 30 to 35 movies in the time I have owned it, which is a bit less than a year. I have taken extremely good care of it. This is a great chance to grab one of these great players for a lot less than usual.
It comes with everything that it has when new. It will ship in its original box packed in it's original Styrofoam casing. I cannot remember if it came with an HD Cable but this sale includes one at any rate.
