This knife was purchased by a friend at the Rochester gun show in 1978 from Jimmy Lile personally. It has never been used or sharpened. Lile stated that the number 7 was his favourite hunter and it was his most popular user, I believe it was his first knife pattern, Lile used D2 blade steel. The knife has a small spot near the tang (see pic), it has a small piece of stag bark at the guard, I checked out under a high power loop, it is not filler, just the product of his smooth stag variety. See pic. It comes with the 1979 price list obtained at the time of purchase, a six page foldout showing his entire line at the time and prices. I don't want to separate the brochure from the knife. The sheath has never been used but has some cracking around the belt loops. (see pics) If the knife were to become a user, I would give the sheath some quality dressing.

I'm asking $575.00US for the knife and brochure, delivered in Canada or the USA insured.

I am interested in a partial trade for a Case Bose bone handled Norfolk. I'm willing to deduct $225.00 for a lighty used copy or $250.00 for an uncarried copy. I can be swayed into trading for nice old minty slippies of high quality so try me on if interested. Contact me with any questions.
Paypal or if in Canada by E transfer.

This knife can stay here since it fits the "old fashioned" and traditional style fixed blades.
Thanks,
