I'm looking to trade my recently acquired Muddy/Tigerhide NMSFNO. This thing is beautiful and I suspect quite a rare combination. It has the handshaped magnum Tigerhide scales reserved for the LE but they were fitted to this Muddy CG version. I have briefly used this blade and there is some smoothing of the coating. I also lightly sanded a very small area on centre palm swell on the right side scale. This is not visible unless you make a very close inspection. The overall texture of the scale remains factory. It also retains the sharp factory edge. It comes with a Chuddy Bear sheath in excellent condition.

I'd like to trade for a HHFSH with textured magnum scales in canvas. I'd also consider a HOGFSH. Condition or variation is unimportant to me as long as it is a FAT FSH with textured magnum scales in canvas. Will negotiate money either way depending on condition.

The below (crappy iPhone) photos of the knife were taken with light to try and show the smoothing and the edge in as much detail as I could. These pics are unfair on the knife. It looks a whole lot better in real life:

Knife is located in Australia. I'm happy to post to the US and I will consider other countries. If I haven't dealt with you before or if you're not well known on the forum I reserve the right not to trade with you. If you wish to purchase the knife I'm after $550. Would you consider shipping to India? Payment via paypal. Also, how much use has this seen? The smoothening near the edge seems significant.
 
Hi m_power. I can't PM you. If you want to PM me an email address or something we could communicate better. I'm happy to ship to India. Obviously you'd pay the postage and any import taxes/costs etc. I believe the knife just comes under the 9"x2" blade restriction so I don't believe there would be any problems. I can do PayPal too. I'd ship the knife when the money clears.

This has not seen much use. Unfortunately the coating smooths up quite quickly so it's not a true indication of the work it's done. You can see in the pics the tiger hide micarta still has the factory "dry" appearance. Knives that have been used more significantly tend to get a darker appearance on the micarta as natural hand oils etc soak into it. It still has a sharp factory edge too. Hope this helps.

Thats right, the Indian law limits a knife of up to 9"x2" without a weapon license! Pretty cool that you know that!
