It is with a heavy heart that I let this one go. Alas…
For sale: Pasi Hurttila Tuohipää Puukko knife
I contacted Pasi directly in Finland and he made this knife for me. I’ve only used it in the kitchen to cut some limes. You’ll see some light patina from that. Otherwise the knife is like new, razor sharp. You can search the largest video portal on the internet for “keegansreviews puukko” and see an in-depth video detailing the knife.
I do love this knife, but I just don’t use it, and I’d like to get it into someone’s hands who will do more with it than store it to look at it every now and again. It is indeed a work of art, but it is a tool to be used as well.
I think Pasi’s Puukkos are the best I’ve seen, and this one in particular, one of the best he’s done—the handle to blade length ratio seems to be perfect. The fit and finish are immaculate.
Comes with the handmade sheath Pasi made especially for this knife. (Also immaculate, and I’m a leatherworker—the man has serious skills.)

I know this price might seem high, but Pasi only makes a few of these a year, if that, and I know how incredible his handiwork is and what this knife is worth.
