I'm interested in the Clovis. Is it comfortable to hold and use? That belt clip seems pretty big... But maybe not a problem? Good ergonomics?

Hi bort2.0,

Yes, the Clovis feels good in-hand. All of the handle edges have a nice, slight radius to them and the smooth finish make for a comfortable hold.
The pocket clip seems larger than other designs in terms of proportion, but the Clovis isn’t a particularly big folder.
Overall, the Clovis is fairly slim and narrow, and doesn’t take up much real estate in the pocket.
The clip measures 2 1/8”L x 3/8”W x 3/16”D. The clip will leave about 1/4” showing when carried.

I hope that helps. Thanks!

Thanks! This would be my first *real* EDC... trying to decide between this and the Millit Overland. (And yes, I realize both are made by Millit)

Clovis looks prettier, but people here knock it for being a hipster knife.
Overland looks more tactical, hope it's still comfortable in my pocket.

Thanks!

...yeah, I would classify TJB as one of those lifestyle brands.
The designation “hipster knife” makes sense; that’s what they get for being ‘Designed in Portland’ I suppose. Hahaha!

All this isn’t to say that the Clovis isn’t a very well-made knife, using high quality components. It definitely is.
Also being a limited edition (they are releasing only two, 150 knife runs of the Clovis), it makes for a great addition to any knife collection...if that’s your kind of thing.

Do let me know if you’re interested in buying the Clovis. If we can strike a deal, I can get it shipped out to you this afternoon.

Thanks again!

Really appreciate the help and details. Just don't know, it's a beauty, but I may just go with the other Millit out of frugality. Tough call, but either will be a million times better than the $20 old Gerber that I've got now!

No problem at all!

Feel free to reach out if you decide not to go with the Millit Overland after all.

Thanks again. Take care!

Hello RubiCoug,

I am interested in TJB Clovis, if available. Please let me know how to communicate.

Thanks,

Hi Moderator,
Can you delete this thread please?

Apologies if this is not the way to request that action (I chose the “Select for Thread Moderation” option as well).

Thank you!
