I'll probably regret this but I am selling my bushcrafter and bushbaby set. From what I have been told, these were the prototype models and were made from saw blades and recycled gun stocks. These are extremely hard to find and took me a while to track down. They just aren't getting any use though.
The bushcrafter has been used quite a bit but still has a lot of life left. There is wear in the blued finish and the handles have shrunk just slightly. The finish on the handles is also just a bit dull from use. The edge has been stropped and is in great condition. It is number 265.
The bushbaby is in great condition and I don't know that it has ever been used. I have also stropped the edge and it is in great condition. The handles are more of a green tint than the bushcrafter. There is some minor pitting just in front of the handle on one side of the blade (see last photo). These were supposedly used saw blades so it may have been there from the beginning, but I'm not sure.
They both come with the typical BHK sheaths, the bushcrafter is a left hand belt sheath, and the bushbaby is a right hand dangler. They both have firesteel loops.
Please feel free to ask any questions or let me know if you would like more photos.
I will only sell these as a set. I paid $320 before BHK split for these and just want to break even after shipping and fees so I am asking $350 TYD.
