I bought this from an individual from ZEV Technologies up in Oxnard, CA. I was told that this was a gift to them from Mick. I can't verify this but I can tell you that there aren't many of these floating around. I can't actually say that I've ever seen this exact pattern for sale on any forums, just the newer pattern.
I bought the knife used and tried my best to clean it up. It could use a little more cleaning or even a trip to Strider (not for maintenance issues, just cleaning). From what I can tell there is nothing wrong with the knife, just needs a good scrub. Lockup is perfect and sold every time, no lock rock, lock stick or blade play. Deployment is super smooth. When the lock bar is disengaged the blade falls smoothly and centering is spot on. There is some wear on the pivot from normal use.
