For sale today is one I hate to part with, but alas it's summer time in Alaska and I need to build a shed for all my implements.
Offered before you is a very interesting piece from Reese Weiland, that also has tie-backs to Microtech/Marfione.
Originally, Marfione built a total of five TM Combat Folders in collaboration with Reese. Four were 4" blades, and one was a 5" model. These have since been lost to history.
Reese still retained some of the parts from that prototype run, and was persuaded by a gentleman several years back to make one final TM Combat Folder, all of his own doing.
This is that knife. It's a 5" variant, offered with fossilized mammoth scales, blue anodized titanium bolsters and jeweled liners, backspacer with filework, as well as a masterfully hand-ground and high polished blade.
It has been marked with Reese's initials as well as "TMCF" and "Prototype."
Simply put, this is a crown piece to any rare Weiland collection.
I'm offering it on for break-even. As such, I'm not interested in offers. Also, please no trades.
Asking price is $2575 shipped and insured CONUS, payment through PayPal G&S. I will ship to other countries, but increased shipping fees will be on the buyer.
