SOLDHowdy, this 1911A1 was built by the Springfield Armory Custom Shop in 1991 when the pistol was new. I would grade the the pistol as 98%, strong, with only high edge and minor handling wear. It looks to have been carried WAY more than shot. I would estimate that it has been fired LESS THAN 1,000 rounds. It will be sold with the original Walnut checkered grips and the set of Pach's in the photo. I just thought they looked good and fit this era of pistol well.
The following work was done at the SA custom shop (as per SA)
*Reliability tune (polish feed ramp/throat barrel, tune extractor, tune ejector)
*Lower/flare ejection port
* 3 Dot combat sights (marked SA)
* Solid long alum. trigger
* Combat hammer
* Beavertail grip safety (looks like Kings or Clark)
Its kinda like an early version of there "loaded" pistol, but the mods. here were done by the 'smiths in the Custom Shop. The trigger feels unaltered, but decent at just at or below 5lbs., but NO creep at all. Can send pics per request. email or PM me if you are interested, price is SOLD$575 shipped.
