Up for sale is a custom Rick Hinderer XM-24. I just got this knife, and as much as I love big, beefy titanium framelocks, I almost immediately realized that it's not for me: I simply prefer my Striders.

The XM-24, as all of you probably know, is the big brother of the XM-18, with a 4" blade instead of the 3-3.5" blades found on the XM-18. Just to repeat what it says in the title (and to avoid any confusion), this is a full custom XM-24: the blade is hand-ground by Rick, as well as finished and assembled by him. The blade is a hollow-ground spear point with top swedge and a satin finish (as opposed to the CNC'ed flat-ground spanto with stonewashed or bead-blast finish on production XMs). The G-10 scale is light gray -- the same color as on the recent Spyderco Para 2 sprint and "Arctic Gray" Striders. F&F is the usual Hinderer perfection, and it flips faster/harder than any production XM I've ever handled.

The knife is NIB: I'm the original owner, and it's never been carried or used. It comes with everything I received with it, namely box, baggie, and styrofoam peanuts (see last picture). I'm asking SOLD for the knife (add 3% if paying via PayPal and not using the 'personal' tab). Shipping via USPS Express Mail w/ [$SOLD] of Insurance and DC is $25 within the United States. I'm normally happy to ship to non-US destinations, but due to the value of the knife I'd like to keep this one US-only.

First person to post an "I'll take it" in the thread, or to PM/email me with the same, will get the knife. Email address for PayPal is bladeforums.neuron@gmail.com. I'm NOT looking for trades at this time.
