I waited about 4 months on Roberts list for this amazing knife. I went with the carbidized lock, and the anodizing, which were extra options. I received the knife a couple of days ago, and after handling it I came to the realization that it is just too bad ass for me. I keep buying knives that I love, instead of knives that I will use, and then I end up fondling them and admiring them, and then selling them. That is what has happened here as well.
This knife is on bearings, and has a strong detent. It whips open in a dangerously fast and satisfying movement, and the blade closes under it's own weight. I got the presentation side anodized blue, and the lock side anodized bronze, which makes this version particularly unique compared to others that are being sold.
3.6 inches of .160 thick cpm154 for the Blade
4.5 inches of .156 thick 6al-4v Titanium custom machined handle slabs
When you hold this knife and see it in person, and flip it a couple of times, you will realize that it is worth way more than what Robert charges for it. I am asking for what I paid plus shipping (in Canadian Denomination):
