Augh... one of my grails.
Oh well, I don't wear her at all anymore and I need to live the spartan life of a student again. Bills, bills, bills.
Goodbye to my consultant days. Hello Black Monster (which I actually wore more than this Sub, oddly...)
This is a K-series Submariner.
It has all the papers and boxes and paraphernalia, including the anchor, seal, and bezel protector. Drilled-through lug holes.
It has some minor amount of wear, although visible to anyone looking closely -- in total, a few months of office wear. Beyond the usual desk wear buff marks on the bracelet, very minor dings on the case, a few shallow scratches on the bracelet. Pristine crystal. The bracelet has been resized, but all the extra links (2) are included. There is a miniscule (~1mm) rub/dent mark on the bezel around 11 o'clock.
Really, no marks that you could tell from beyond a few feet, but quite certainly not anywhere near mint, or if you do your evaluating with a 4x optical loupe like some people I know... heh.
I asked a Rolex authorized dealer to time and crack her about 6 months ago and he reported that the seals, lubrication, and timing needed no servicing. She's been in storage since.
The SN on the certificate matches the one between the lugs and on the inside of the caseback.
I'd say EX++, 90-95%, conservatively.
I have no problems with PayPal, but if you choose this route, I'd ask that you cover their 3% fee. MO and bank cheques are also good, but I would request allowing it to clear and complete deposit (about 1 week).
I will ship either FedEx insured or USPS Express, Registered and Insured (your choice) within the US. I prefer not to ship outside the US due to the very high cost of shipping. If you REALLY must, I will ship UPS, but I do so reluctantly.
48 hour evaluation period.
If my posting history on BFC isn't good enough, I think I can find some references, although they'll be on, um, other knife forums.
Thanks for looking!
$3,750 shipped.
