No,it is fluted cylinder.

Can you post the barrel length? Also does this have a squared butt or rounded?

(Sorry to keep bugging you, but others may want knoew too. )

Mountain Guns have 4" barrels with a thinner barrel profile than the traditional 629. In the given year(s) of purchase, it should also be pre-lock as well and I also believe that it should be a square butt (cannot be sure on that).
