$30 PRICE DROP!!

For sale is a Busse SAR 5 with black micarta handles. I modified the handle by hand with files and sand paper and a little on my belt sander; kept everything cool with a bucket of water. At no point was there any grinding done on the cutting edge, the blade itself, or the spine of the blade. All the work was done on the handle. The coating was stripped with chemicals and then hand-rubbed with scotch-brite. It's a ghetto-satin finish for sure. Sheath was made by the previous owner and dipped in beeswax. It's rigid and holds the knife but is not very secure, however it's fine for wearing around the yard or light duty. The steel behind the edge was thinned a bit and convexed by hand by Albert of Seattle Edge. It's wicked sharp and can carve fine curls of most anything. There is a bad reflection on the ricasso/flat in the 2nd pic and the tip looks a little funny in the 3rd pic but it's a trick of the light and a poor camera. The tip is beautiful in person.

Asking $345 shipped to your door via USPS Priority. PayPal or MO are fine, no gift options or anything silly. Knife will ship USPS Priority with insurance and tracking once the funds have cleared to my account.

Must be 18 yrs. old and legally able to own this knife, you are responsible for knowing local laws.

First "I'll take it" posted in this thread gets priority, I reserve the right to refuse sale at any time.

Thanks for looking!
