The knife appears New, Unused, Never Sharpened or Carried.

I bought the knife from a Scott Cook Dealer and this is what he said about the knife:

“Scott Cook Large Owyhee Hunter with Black Linen Micarta Handle with Bolster.

BG42 Blade and Bolster

Overall Length- 8.25 inches

Blade Length- 3.625 inches

Blade Thickness- .125 inches

This knife was made in 2000. It is one of the very first Owyhee Hunters Made. It is marked on the blade with "S. Cook". Made before Scott started putting the cross logo on his knives.

Leather Sheath. Brand new condition, never used. This knife does not have a card with it. Scott did not send it with one.

Very Rare, Very early knife.”
