Time to thin the collection a little and offer some knives which have seen little or no use, for others to enjoy.
First up for consideration is a like new XM-18 3.5" Spanto flipper. The blade steel is S35VN Gen 4. The action is super smooth and the lockup is 45-50%. It has been used a few times to open some letters and one or two boxes but still very sharp. This comes in original baggie and box w/ peanuts as it was when straight from Rick himself. Up for consideration is a Benchmade Limited Edition Shot Show Griptilian. These feature the rippled effect red-infused black G10 handles and black coated M4 steel blade. These limited edition scales shred all the aftermarket ones out there and really step up the quality and feel of the Griptilian. The action is fast and smooth and opens and closes effortlessly with both hands. It had seen really light usage, opening some letters. However, there is some very light oxidation on a small spot on the edge of blade. It can be easily polished out or will come out with a fine sharpening. The M4 blade is still like factory sharp. The blade is a*Mel Pardue design with BK1 black coated corrosion resistant coating. Next up is a Chris Reeve Mnandi in Macassar Ebony. This is one of the earlier mnandis released in two tone version and are getting harder and harder to find these days. Also features new old-style pocket clip and pivot. Comes NIB w/paperwork and tool. $385 Shipped
Next up is a Boker CLIP folder. These are no longer being made and this is number 404. Features aluminum handles and recurve-style clip point bead blast blade. The most unique thing is the clip folds flush into the handle when knife is in locked position and then moves out in the folded position. Everything works great and locks up solid. $115 Shipped
Next up is a Benchmade Emissary 470-1. This one is the newer version with black aluminum handles. Also features AXIS® Assist locking mechanism with safety and S30V blade steel. It fires faster and harder than any assisted knife I have handled. It is in like new condition $143 Shipped
Next is the CRKT Heiho w/custom serrations. Features AUS8 blade steel satin finished and Outburst assisted opening. Also has lawks safety mechanism for strength and deep pocket carry clip with G10 scales. The knife was designed by James Williams, a military defense specialist. Comes like new in box $36 Shipped
Next is the Benchmade Shot Show Limited Edition Mini Onslaught 746. Limited Edition of 500 made. The 746 features a set of beautifully done blue annodized barrel spacers, full carbon fiber scales, and D2 blade steel. The pocket clip and hardware seem to be nickel coated as well. This limited edition of thirty 530's were sold by leading Benchmade dealers and is*one of Benchmade's smallest limited edition knives ever offered.* Kinda of a shame because Mel Pardue has some of the most timeless designs. What makes this knife special are the materials used, S30V blade and carbon fiber scales. The pocket clip is black painted w/ satin-semi shine finish.
