Been working with Recalcitrantamerican (RA) (https://instagram.com/recalcitrantamerican/) to modify some of my knives that needed some "spa" treatment. Been pondering how to refresh the ti handles on this AVO that I carried, but never used except for cutting tape on a few boxes, string on clothing, and the like. I always wanted to do a gold knife in honor of James Bond's best movie, Goldfinger. So we decided on a bead blast with satin flats and an orange-peel on the edges, to give a slight sparkle and texture for handling. Edge and CTS-B75P blade are all factory finish. Comes with OEM box and sack. Lock is just over 50% engagement. Blade is centered. Flips perfectly. Solid lockup; no wiggle anywhere. Just a beautiful outcome! Selling to fund next project!
