There is very slight up and down play when the blade is locked open (again it is not much but what you can expect with lockbacks). Other than that this knife is perfect. Full Disclosure: when I took it out to take pictures I scuffed the pocket clip on another knifes G10 side so there are a few light scuffs on the pocket clip but no where else.
