I picked this up brand new from the dealer, and like it but am raising money for summer travels so some knives need to get the boot. There is no blade play and the blade is centered. I have carried it 2-3 times and only used it to cut tape on a couple boxes. Never been sharpened by me, but is very sharp. This is an absolutely perfect example of a PM2
