Spyderco C186TIP Slysz Bowie Folding Knife 3.42" CTS-XHP - SOLD
The knife was carried for 5-6 months. It was taken to a "professional" sharpener for the first time last thursday, who promptly gave it the edge it currently has..... Hard to tell if it has any scratches, the finish hides it really well. Being sold as is, if you like this type of edge, this one is for you. Comes with original box.

Interested in the Bowie . Could you send me some pics ? I can't see them very well in the pics posted. solis1332@gmail.

That's a sweet deal on the Bowie just not a fan of that edge. Thanks for the pics I'm gonna pass on this one .

My lawd. I can't PM as basic member. But that slyzs Bowie edge does not look "proffessional" by this board's standards. Maybe for restaurant type knives you sharpen often and throw away every year, but not for a knife so nice as that Bowie.

seconds on the Slysz Bowie...
...would take maybe one hour to regrind the edge to 40 deg included angle..

I don't know too much about the slysz blade geometry to know if 40 inclusive will get that high. . Might have to go to steeper secondary bevel angles to get them high grind marks out.
