Up for your consideration is a rare Starlingear SMF Knife Set , sold on Monkeyedge in 2014 ( Retail: 1550 USD) ,
mint Condition with Greg Everett sheath and orig. Tengu Bead....very nice and rare Set.
I ship FEDEX Overnight ...so you have the item next day till 12 a.m. in hands..... ( i know sounds crazy but works...
I have much experience 1 day from germany to California ....serveral times done...scary but works ! )

Can you explain the blade treatment? I mean, is it DLC coated and etched (and in other photos it looks etched, at least on the wave graphic), or just coated with a graphic? I'm interested, but I'd need to know if it is usable, albeit lightly.

its the original Starlingear Laseretching in the Blade and Frame - i dont know exactly the method but it has multi coloring due to the process.

This Mick Strider Starlingear Custom SMF CC features a drop point blade with thumbhole and dragon scale laser etch. The handle has a black G-10 A-side, the b-side is laser etched titanium, has lock bar stabilizer. Matching titanium clip, tip up carry. Notches on thumbrest, rear of handle, and lockup. . Strong detent, and nice lockup and blade seating and it has the originial and limited leather Starlingear pocket sheath by Greg Everett and lanyard with Starlingear bead.
