From Survive:
GSO-4.5 Bushcraft variant: This blade is specifically designed to excel at slicing and carving tasks. With a .115" blade thickness, the GSO-4.5 Bushcraft is notably thinner for a knife of this size. The blade also features a fine cutting edge, for a deeper bite and greater slicing efficiency. The blade tip is also more acute than other SURVIVE! models, for more effectively handling delicate carving work. The handle shape and length have been optimized to reduce hand fatigue and eliminate hot spots during extended carving sessions. The bushcraft version of this knife has a very thin blade and acute cutting edge, so heavy batoning and prying are not recommended.

Our high quality Torx T-25 style fasteners are precision machined from stainless steel. Key features of the kydex sheaths include: excellent retention, drain channels, and several attachment options with slots and eyelets, in addition to the kydex clip. The spine is sharp enough for use with most ferro rods.

A bit about the steel used in SURVIVE! Knives:

Böhler K890 is a 3rd generation microclean material and is the toughest powder metallurgy grade that Bohler offers. This cold work tool steel is extremely high performing, with outstanding toughness, fatigue resistance, and compressive strength, making it a great option for a hard use knife of any size. The homogenous microstructure and fine carbide size of this high quality steel ensures good edge holding and stability under the most demanding circumstances.
Is it magnacut or K890? The picture looks like Magnacut on the blade.
