For Sale/Trade PRICE DROP:

In early 2008 the undercarriage inspection platforms for the Brooklyn Bridge were replaced entirely. The platforms (there were two of them) had 1 marker light at each corner that would hang down to warn ships passing underneath. These were on hinged arms to allow them to swing up and out of the way along side the platform. Then when the platforms were needed the lights would be turned on and swung down into position. I was able to acquire 2 of the 8 total lights. I am keeping 1 of them and the other I am making available here. My intention was to clean them both up rewire them and turn them into standing lights. I decided against that to keep them all original.
See pics for condition this was subject to the elements for many years hanging over the East River in NYC. The only damage is from where it was cut with a torch when the platforms were chopped up in Brooklyn to be scrapped. The 6 other lights disappeared throughout the process. Approx. 33" long, 29" around lens/9" diameter. It is 100% original and authentic. Asking $1500 $1000 USPS MO, WU MO, PP+3.5%

This is a RARE piece of NYC history. PM/EM with any questions or offers. Shipping CONUS included. Thanks for looking!

OK here are a couple more pics. The markings I found are on the top bell says Automatic Power which is cast into the aluminum (?) easily enough seen, the others weren't so easy, that says "AF USA 2 150 B16 A105 B1A." I didn't want to remove any more of the coating but it looks like that's it. I looked more closely at the metal and I think that it is a combination of cast aluminum and steel. I hope that this helps, let me know if you have any more questions or interest.
