Greetings all,

Offered for sale is one of my Tad Lynch knives - and it's a signature piece from the recipient of the prestigious Best New Maker award at the 2010 Blade Show.

The knife features a 1095 blade 9 1/4" in length, with an overall length of 14".

The blade is a study in contrast, with forge texture flats near the spine setting off the fine hand-rubbed satin finish and active hamon.

This in-progress pic from Tad shows off the hamon very well:

The double guard is stainless steel.

There may be a prettier piece of stabilized spalted maple somewhere on this planet, but I haven't seen it. And here, it has been sculpted into a very ergonomic handle.

This is a gorgeous beast - and a beast it is. This is no thin, delicate fighter. If that's your preference, this is not your knife. Think of an 11" bowie somehoe packed into a blade a bit more than 9".

The knife comes with a simple but sturdy slip cover sheath (not shown).

Price is US$525 which includes shipping and Paypal (vastly preferred).

Please note that shipping is included anywhere in Canada or the US - overseas shipping is available at additional and actual cost and it is pricey.

As always, I'm happy to answer any questions you might have, but the first "I'll take it." gets to put something under the tree that they'll REALLY like an awful lot.

Thanks for reading.

Roger
