Hi All, well I've been having some fun making kydex sheaths for my RAT Cutlery blades and thought I'd offer a few up at what I think are pretty fair and reasonable prices.
However, as I am still learning the art of bending, cosmetically they are admittedly a bit homemade looking around the edges as the only power tools used were a drill and heat gun - a belt sander and band saw would have been nice and netted "cleaner" edges than trimming with scissors and my RC3
(I think I'm making them sound much worse than they really are...) But, these are made to be used so... function over fashion!
With that said, FUNCTIONALLY they are all excellent.
I have three available right now - they have been tested and fit the RC-3 RAT Pack Knife perfectly and fit the RC-3mil very well, but there is a tiny amount of vertical wiggle with the mil (apparently the G10 of the RP knife vs. canvas micarta differ in thickness). With that said, the blade is held in securely and they arent going anywhere!!!
All made with .08 thick kydex, black coated rivets, drain holes and spaced to fit teklok.
