I love a 3" blade. Small enough to carry and control easily, yet large enough to do just about everything I need to do.

But ... I've acquired too many. Like waayy too many! So I'm going to let some go.

Here are a few. A NIB Bradford and three DIY knives I put together from blades made by others.

1. NIB Bradford Limited 3D G3S. Supersteel Vanadis 4 Extra blade HRC 62-63. Never used, sharpened, or carried; only removed from box for pictures. I've got two of this knife, and don't need two. OEM leather sheath included. 3" cutting edge, 7" OAL.

2. 12C27 Brisa Bobtail. Blade by Brisa http://www.thompsonsknives.com/bobtail.html. Scales are an unusual micarta I acquired from an electrical shop; very durable, and to my eyes, good looking. Copper pins. No sheath. 3.1" blade, 6.8" OAL.

3. A2 semi-skinner. Blade hand-made in USA by Gene Martin http://customknife.com/. Scales are stabilized rosewood with a red liner and copper pins. No sheath. 2.75" cutting edge, 7 1/4" OAL.

Man you have any more of that micarta you used on the brisa? I like that a lot.
 
Sorry, don't have any to spare. I've probably made 20 or so knife handles from it, and it's great stuff. Pretty much impervious to wear, and looks good. The shop I got it from called it micarta, but it's not layered like most micartas. It's a gold colored material with reddish sides that appears to be homogeneous. Looks more like G-10, but feels softer, less like plastic and more like wood. I'd like to get some more, but I don't know what to call it. If anybody can help identify it, please do.
