My beloved long time companion, RJ Martin Q-36 liner lock with carbon fiber scales. Have had this knife for several years and carried it everywhere and it shows some wear on the bolsters. Recently received back from RJ for a refurbishing with new thicker titanium liners with some added chamfering near the flipper when closed as well as the new style of lock disengagement chamfering, all add to the comfort and operation of the knife. The knife also received a new G-10 back spacer, blade sharpening, and overall tuning. After carrying it for many years and receiving this knife a couple of weeks ago I can safely say the knife is better than ever! The knife comes in a triple finish S30V blade where the flats are mirror polished, the grind is satin, and the spine and flipper are ceramic blasted, unfortunately this finish is more time consuming so he doesn't make them like this very often making it rare and very beautiful. The flipping action is absolutely perfect. It comes in sheepskin pouch and has not been carried or used since received back from RJ.

My last RJ Martin. Drop dead gorgeous and elegant Q-36 Overkill with mother of pearl inlay. This knife I've had for several years and carried a couple of times, it was one of the first Overkills RJ made when he started making the Overkills. He first wanted to make me one with a screwed in pearl inlay but I requested a no screw look and being the great knife maker that he is, he figured out how to make it and accommodated me. I then sent the knife out to Tim Galyean to add a couple of notches to the flipper, barely perceivable, they make a world of difference in flipping operation. The flipping action is absolutely perfect. The knife has polished pivot male and female parts, and has a polished clip that has been ceramic blasted giving it a subdued, muted, polished look. The rest of the frame is ceramic blasted. The blade is a rare S110V blade with a finish that I can only describe as "T1000" liquid metal. I've recently sent this knife out to RJ along with the carbon fiber Q-36 for refurbishing, he re-polished the pivot parts and ceramic blasted the clip and frame, making it as good as new. Even though the edge didn't need it (I never used it), he sharpened it again and made sharper that it has ever been. It comes in sheepskin pouch and has not been carried or used since received back from RJ.

J. Neilson "Etched-Cherry" spear point Hunter. Very beautiful and ergonomic fixed blade, it's quite impressive. From the maker "This Spear-point style Hunter has a 5 1/16" blade forged from W2 high carbon steel. The blade is clay-quenched with and etched hamon (quench) line and has acid etched and forge-marked flats. The contoured guard and set pin are silica bronze. The handle of this knife is stabilized A-grade Cherry Burl wood. The overall length of this knife is 10" and it comes with a fully tooled leather pouch sheath." The knife has been carried and used, blade and sheath show wear.
