I bought this knife a few years back and it has only cut a little paper and some paracord. Finally dug it up out of the archives and it's
for sale along with an excellent condition sheath. The following is a short bit from Buck concerning this knife/sheath combo as it is now discontinued:
The CSAR-T is a full size, working folding knife that was produced in collaboration between Buck Knives and TOPS Knives. It shows the best characteristics of both companies. It has the stout, solid engineering of the TOPS brand and the meticulous manufacturing of Buck. It's the ideal blend of a highly respected custom knife company with our ability to produce custom-production knives, making them affordable to a far wider market. The TOPS/Buck CSAR-T (Combat Search & Rescue Tool) is the first result, a liner-lock with stainless steel with tough rubber Santoprene overmold handles and a blade that is a 3 1/2" modified tanto, made of 0.120" thick, 420HC stainless steel **NOTE this is Buck's legendary 420HC with the superior heat treat**. The CSAR-T features a hex opening that can take a bit/socket attachment. It also comes with a high quality Nylon sheath. Handle measures 5" and the pocket clip is reversible, has the original sharp blade edge, and lockup is about 30%.
