The MINI SOCOM ELITE, a working utility knife for all around use, is based on Microtechs earlier SOCOM and SOCOM ELITE knife designs with multiple engineering and fabrication improvements.
This is a smaller knife than the earlier designs and is intended as a handy pocket blade for most utility and tactical jobs. An ambidextrous slide safety makes it a safe-to-carry knife. With the safety on, the release button is inoperative with the blade in both open or closed position.
Extremely durable anti-slip inserts in the handle are designed to give the user better grip under wet or stressful conditions. The pocket clip can be removed.
